The M.D. of Pincher Creek No.9 is financially accountable to the residents and rate payers of the municipality.

The M.D. of Pincher Creek No.9 is also accountable to the Minister of Municipal Affairs for ensuring compliance with all requirements in the Municipal Government Act, and other legislation, pertaining to financial administration.
