As per the MD of Pincher Creek No. 9 By-Law 1051-03, any dog running at large in the Municipality can be caught by the Animal Control Service and impounded.  The dog can be claimed from the animal control service.  If the dog is not claimed in five (5) days (excluding Sundays and holidays), the Municipal District will cover the Veterinarian costs for euthanasia.
