The Agricultural and Environmental Services Department is committed to providing our citizens with a program of selected problem wildlife & pest control.  Administered by the Agricultural Fieldmen, the program involves consultation with ratepayers on selected problem wildlife & pests, and, if practical, recommendations to remedy the situation.  The program runs with assistance and cooperation of Alberta Agriculture & Food.

Wherever possible, our policy encourages changes in management practice to discourage the conflict with problem wildlife.  Toxicants are used rarely, and are administered by the Agricultural Fieldmen, who are certified under the guidelines of the federal Pest Control Products Act. We assist with advice on minimizing the adverse effects of:
